TS 103 221-1 CR055 - Extensions for ReportTaskIssue and ReportNEIssue – 221-1

ETSI TC 103 221-1 – describes a ReportTaskIssue and ReportNEIssue messages and associated procedures. In some scenarios (e.g. to support 3GPP architectures involving triggering and triggered functions), these messages require the ability to include additional information than is currently allowed. The type of additional information (e.g. NEID for the IRI-POI/CC-POI, time the X2 or X3 based data was received at the MDF, etc) can be defined in 3GPP TS 33.128. A similar reporting capability that is already defined in 3GPP TS 33.128 is the DelegatedTask details which is currently included via the extensions field in a GetTaskDetails response message. Enhancements to ETSI TS 103 221-1 should be considered to enable reporting similar information in the ReportTaskIssue and ReportNEIssue messages. One way to enhance these messages is to define an extensions field in these messages.
