meta data. Note the effect of multiple extensions in all the Add*
directive descriptions, and explain that these directives add or override
existing mappings. Remove assumptions that there is only one extension.
Add note about how setting both handlers and media types could result in
unexpected results. Remove some highly misleading information such as that
the type is the extension left "after content-encoding and language
extensions have been removed"

a gcc 2.8.1 compiled apache is logging client addresses with all
bits set (255.255.255.255). This is the second such problem caused
by gcc 2.8.1 compiler. The first being broken semaphore locking.

The logic used is commented in the source.  It should be complete
for the current Apache code base, but if something else starts modifying
r->filename outside of a filename translation stage that could change.

The code scans, at each stage, every subrequest for each level of
an internal redirect so it ends up being O(n^2) total in the
number of subrequests and internal redirects, but that shouldn't
be an issue.

modules, Limit, and Script directives.  That includes PATCH,
PROPFIND, PROPPATCH, MKCOL, COPY, MOVE, LOCK, and UNLOCK.
Improved mod_actions.c so that it can use any of the methods
defined in httpd.h.  Added ap_method_number_of(method) for
getting the internal method number.

I would have preferred to use a configurable table for new methods,
but the current API is too dependent on methods being represented as
a bitmask.  We need to rethink this in the next major server version.
