Update mod_negotation.c to support variants with multiple language types. Languages can either be obtained from file extensions (eg foo.fr.en.html) or on the Content-Language line in a type-map file (eg Content-Language: fr, en). This patch: * Allows multiple comma separated languages on the Content-Language: header in a type-map file * Updates the function which sets the language quality factor for each variant to select the best (highest q) match from the tags of the variant, using the algorithm in HTTP/1.1 14.4 * If the new (HTTP/1.1) language negotiation results in a tie between variants, falls back onto the Apache 1.1 language negotiation algorythm, using _just_ the first language of the variant * Updates the 406 text and Alternates header to list multiple languages if necessary git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76926 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

unless compiled with #define HOLTMAN (see comments in the code). Protocol bugs noticed and patched by Koen Holtman. Bugs fixed are: * implement speculative vs. definite q values [Koen] * do not fiddle q values for language or media types [Koen] * return choice via an internal_redirect instead of run_sub_req, to prevent wrong handler getting onto the response * use neg->use_transparent_neg to determine if we are running tcn git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76925 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Allow each resource to have more than one content-language associated with it. Update mod_mime to allow files to have multiple language extensions (eg foo.en.fr.html). Add new request_rec element 'content_languages' to hold an array of the languages, and deprecate use of 'content_language'. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76924 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

added the asctime format to those being parsed, modified the interface to only include what was actually being used, and made a bunch of improvements for speed and robustness. I tested the routines with a random date generator (maybe we should add a directory for test programs?) and a variety of invalid formats. I needed these for use by http_protocol.c in interpreting IMS and IUS dates, but I strongly recommend that they also be used by the proxy module; it will require a bit of work to modify the proxy's calls, but the new routines supply a superset of functionality with better portability (i.e., they don't assume long == int) and speed. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76921 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Submitted by: Mark Brown <mbrown@OpenMarket.com> The get_client_block function arbitrarily tosses one byte of the caller's buffer. Thus if the caller's buffer is a single byte long, get_client_block always signals EOF. (mod_fastcgi tickled this bug by passing bufsiz == len_to_read, after which len_to_read == 1.) git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76913 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Submitted by: Dean Gaudet This patch adds another type to get_remote_name -- REMOTE_NOLOOKUP. This skips the lookup and returns the name/ip that is known already. This is then used in update_child_status so that no DNS lookups are forced for the status page. On its own, this patch really doesn't do anything :) So why am I submitting it? It allows the creative hacker to set up their server to do reverse dns on some hits but not others. I imagine something like this would do the trick in 1.2: HostnameLookups On <Files \.(gif|jpeg)$> HostnameLookups Off </Files> Dean git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@76904 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68
