Submitted by: Arthur Smith 516-344-6231 <apsmith@aps.org> The "reset_timeout" line was inserted in 1.2beta3 to allow large or slow POST/PUT operations. However, it was placed incorrectly so that it only took effect if CGI logging was enabled. The follow patch moves the reset_timeout to the proper location. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@77479 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Submitted by: Ed Korthof This is a bug fix; as I mentioned, the RLimit* set of directives silently ignore any second argument. The TAKE12 method passes a second char * argument (which may be NULL), which was simply being ignored (I suppose compilers haven't complained because the functioned called is determined at runtime; and the function was finding all the arguments it expected...). git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@77478 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

changes to how index_of_response handles errors. This patch fixes that as well as removing the reported problem of stripping a trailing double-quote character. Submitted by: Dean Gaudet Subject: warning from irix 6.2 cc cfe: Warning 851: util.c, line 109: constant initializer expression is invalid (refers to automatic variables). struct tm gmt = *gmtime(&tt); ----^ Interesting. I'd have to dig out my copy of the ansi c standard to see if this is valid -- but I'm tempted to believe the compiler because this is a structure initialization, not a scalar. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@77465 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Submitted by: Dean Gaudet Two problems. The first is that every call to make_sub_request wasn't copying the original request's request_time. The second was that mod_log_config was defaulting to "do not want_orig" for %T (i.e. %>T was default not %<T). Try the following patch or use %<T. I considered copying the time right inside make_sub_request. I also considered making make_sub_request a static function. Both may be the right thing to do... In hotwired's code I keep track of time statistics and other stuff that is "global" to a particular request in the conn_rec structure. Mostly because I am lazy. But it does avoid this problem where you have to copy the values from request to sub request. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@77464 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68

Submitted by: Rodent of Unusual Size <coar@decus.org> This patch (to mod_log_config and mod_rewrite) puts "\"\"" into the logfile for the %u substitution IFF there's a remote user but of zero length (as opposed to none at all). That should keep the logfile analysers from getting indigestion if an authentication is done with a null username. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/branches/1.3.x@77446 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68
