specified in rev-05 of HTTP/1.1.  Used that implementation as a means
of disabling the 100 Continue response when we already know the final
status, which is mighty useful for PUT responses that result in 302 or 401.

Moved two ugly protocol condition checks that were in http_request.c
over to where they belong in http_protocol.c.  They were put there
originally because ap_read_request formerly could not return an
error response, but I added that capability in 1.3.2.

Added removal of extra trailing whitespace from the getline results as part
of the protocol processing, which is extra nice because it works
between continuation lines, is almost no cost in the normal case
of no extra whitespace, and saves memory.

restart. The option is -k, used like this:

  -k shutdown
  -k restart

This lets people signal Apache on Win95 systems (where previously Apache
was controlled by doing a ^C to stop it running).

This had two causes: first, if "-i", "-u" or "-S" was given (none of which
start a daemon) the PID file was being updated with the new PID. Secondly,
doing "net stop apache" or stopping Apache from the SCM did not remove the
PID file because reporting a STOPPED status to the SCM seems to stop the
process, so move the reporting of the STOPPED service to the very last
thing we do.

revised HTTP/1.1 (307, 416, 417), WebDAV (102, 207, 422, 423), and
HTTP Extension Framework (510) specifications.  Did not add the
WebDAV 424 and 425 codes because they are bogus.  We don't use any
of these codes yet, but they are now available to 3rd-party modules.

of "-".  This was introduced by a bogus cleanup in rev 1.31; -1 was
changed to 0 to avoid storing -1 in a size_t, when the correct fix is
to change the size_t to an off_t.

	Make it even easier for sites to present uniform content by
	making the server's signature text, which is added to server-
	generated pages, available to all types of requests.  Then
	scripts, SSI pages, and such can all use the same signature
	as the server's generated pages if desired.

PS: This is actually an extracted sub-patch of a large patch which contains
    lots of style changes, too. The style changes I'll commit in a second
    round (I don't want to commit the stuff mixed together). Only one change
    (2->STDERR_FILENO) is committed also now, because it's more like a bugfix.

	Back off a portion of the incremental-IndexOptions patch;
	unprefixed keywords should clear all inherited options and
	start setting the local directory's options from scratch.
	Otherwise, 'keyword' and '+keyword' are essentially identical,
	and clearing inheritance a pain.
