  Ok, I no longer have VC5.0 installed, anywhere.  With the .dep files,
  these remain buildable under VC5, but were generated under VC6.

  VC6 introduces .dep companions to .mak, so it was either add the .dep's
  to CVS, or remove the .mak's.
