DescriptionThe data type "VimConnectionInfo" has an attribute "vimType" to identify the type as one of "CIR", "CISM", "VIM" or "MCIOP Repository".

If so, the attributes "cirConnectionInfo" and "mciopRepositoryInfo" serve no purpose, as defined in Table 5.5.2.2-1. Both the MAP contents could be put together with the existing attribute VnfInstance."vimConnectionInfo" (which is a MAP of VimConnectionInfo)

Additional InformationThe VNFM can segregate the MAP values, using a grouping/order based on the attribute VimConnectionInfo."vimType"

 This specifcation is aligning with IFA007. The bug report suggest here might be feasible, however the solution in the present SOL003 document is more like an optimization, and SOL003 rapporteur (me) suggests that there is no change required.

After IFA007 specification was done, SOL003 specified as less disruptive and more backward compatible to add new attributes to refer to these new specific kinds of functions (CIR and MCIOP repository) rather than updating the vimConnectionInfo attribute, because it was seen the latter was very much specific to infrastructure resources management, which is VM-based (VIM) or container-based (CISM) but not about images or other repositories.

 Yes, of course we need it. "vimType" is an attribute in VimConnectionInfo to indicate the type of the VIM information. In the data structure "VimConnectionInfo", it is necessary and mandatory.

Is it acceptable for you to make this issue resolved?
