| Summary | 0007721: Possibility to catch any exception of a specified signature | ||||||||
| Description | The catch operation can either catch a specific exception of a referenced signature or any exception of any signature. However, it would be useful to have a third option: to catch any exception of a specified signature. In order to do that, the currently mandatory template instance part in the operation parameter section should be changed into optional: ( Port | any port | any from PortArrayRef ) "." catch [ "(" ( Signature "," TemplateInstance ) | TimeoutKeyword ")" ] -> ( Port | any port | any from PortArrayRef ) "." catch [ "(" ( Signature [ "," TemplateInstance ] ) | TimeoutKeyword ")" ] If accepted, the TCI section has to be updated as well (especially the XML mapping) | ||||||||
