| Description | clause 5 says "When a field is contained within a single octet, the highest bit number of the field represents the lowest order value." This means that bit7 is the LSB. clause 5 says "When a field spans more than one octet, the order of bit values within each octet progressively increases as the octet number increases (network byte order)." Does this mean, in teh case of a number spaning over 2 octets, that bit15 is the LSB? | ||||||||

No more issues. Please modifiy text based on the STF input in order to make it more understandable. The notations MSB and LSB could be used. |
