Summary | 0003257: Definition should not be a note |
Description | In the definition
"completely initialized: values and templates of simple types are completely initialized if they are partially initialized
NOTE: Values and templates of structured types and arrays are completely initialized if all their fields and elements are completely initialized. In case of record of and set of values and templates and arrays this means at least the first n elements shall be initialized, where n is the minimal length imposed by the type length restrictions or array definition (thus in case of n equals 0, the value "{}" also completely initializes a record of, set of or array)."
the definition related to simple types is written as the definition's text, the definition related to structured types is written as a note. Just delete "NOTE:" and make both parts of the definition a "normal" text.
Proposed to be merged with CR2147, as that CR is also dealing with issues related to initialization. |
