+In order to make changes or contributions to a project, you need to be a member of that project.

+To join a project, first [log in to the Forge](How-To/Log-in) and navigate to the project's page. You will find a link labelled "Request Access" just underneath the title of the project.

+When you click this link, the request is sent to the [project maintainers](Process/maintainers) for approval. Once approved, you will have the ability to create [CRs and merge requests](How-To/Create-a-CR).
+
+If you can't find the link for whatever reason, contact one of the [project maintainers](Process/maintainers) directly. If you tell them your username, they can add you to the project.
