| Summary | 0008084: DHCP server attribute in VNF configuration data |
| Description | The VnfConfigurationData data type includes a dhcpServer attribute with the following definition:
"IP address of the DHCP server that the VNF instance can use to obtain IP addresses to be assigned to its external CPs"
While DHCP servers have an IP address, a DHCP client (a VNF in this case) does not send DHCP messages to a specifc IP address. DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPREQUEST messages are broadcasted.
What should a VNF do with this dhcpServer attribute? Should it be removed from the interface ?
