| Summary | 0005800: Test case stop operation missing in BNF 4.2.1 |
| Description | The test case stop operation, as described in clause 21.2.1 of v4.2.1 of the core language standard, is not supported by the BNF in Annex A as far as I can see. A brief look yields that it should probably part of rule
349. StopTCStatement ::= StopKeyword | (ComponentReferenceOrLiteral Dot StopKeyword) | (AllKeyword ComponentKeyword Dot StopKeyword)
But the notation
testcase "." stop { ( FreeText | TemplateInstance ) [","] } ")"
is not matched by this rule. Furthermore, the StopKeyword only appears in the following rules:
- ControlStatement
- StopTCStatement
- PortStopOp
- StopTimerStatement
My guess is that the syntax has simply been missed to be integrated into the Annex A BNF. |
