| Summary | 0007992: Only signature parameters are restricted to be data types, return types not |
| Description | Restriction b of section 14 of the core standard:
"Signature parameters shall be of a data type."
Which is necessary so that the parameters could sent over the network when calling a procedure on a remote component.
But the return type must also be restricted to be a data type, so that it could also be sent back.
