| Summary | 0007952: ispresent, isvalue and isbound on objects |
| Description | Please note that the behaviour of operators isbound, ispresent, isvalue is not declared in the OO extension.
1)
The OO extnsion does not mention how ispresent, isbound or isvalue should be understood on objects.
Though I believe they could easily apply to see if the variable was not yet assigned a value.
And also references to members and fields of members could be reasonably accepted as parameters.
2)
The core standard talks about "data objects" and templateinstances as parameters to these operators, which sound like they could not be used with variables/formal parameters of class type. |
