Summary0007778: Adding C-V2X support and facility layer security
DescriptionExtending the specification of the "Decentralized Environmental Notification” basic service to support the Cellular-V2X access layer and communication profile. Backwards compatibility for ITS-G5 will be preserved.
Expected changes include the following:
- Update references and abbreviations, as needed for C-V2X
- Potential update to table 7 in 5.4.2.2, as needed to maintain consistency with changes (if any) to Geonetworking/BTP specs
- Update clause 5.4.2.3 to specify the interface to IP protocol stack supported by C-V2X
- Add secrity operations, e.g. signing and verifying operation, to Clause 8 protocol operation of the DEN basic service
- Other minor error corrections

Change in Table 7, entry to GN communication Profile, change the "C-V2X" to "LTE-V2X" as C-V2X is a not known abbreviation and shall be first defined somewhere before it could be used in normative way.

Other amendments have not yet been inserted, only relatively vague proposals have been made no concrete text is provided.
