Summary | 0007765: add discard state to the states of ports with translation capability
Description | According to the current standards ports with translation cabailities can be of several states: unset, not translated, fragmanted, translated, partially translated. This list should be extended with the "discarded" state. It is very usefull in testing to discard some of the incoming messages, that would just complicate the testing logic on TTCN-3 level. Right now using translation ports this is possible, but when the writer of the translation function wants to indicate the discarding of a message ... the port has to be set to the state of "fragmented". Which is very confusing. For users the translation port being in the fragmented state indicates, that there is some incoming message, that needs to be handled, but has not fully arrived yet (and so might need special attention). While having a "discarded" state would clearly indicate, that the message was descarded intentionally, and no extra attention is needed. /*basically the first version indicates incompleteness or some sort of error, while the discarded state indicates a deliberate and correct decision */
