| Summary | 0007464: Remove restriction on templates in external function return value |
| Description | The current definition of external functions doesn't allow to return templates. This restriction doesn't make much sense any more, because recent additions of the TCI allow to handle matching symbols as values so it should be possible to pass them directly over XTRI or encode them with TCI-CD and then pass over TRI. Besides, it doesn't make much sense to allow an out template parameter, but not a template return value. |
