| Summary | 0007353: attributes should be attachable to their definition only |
| Description | It is often the case that an attribute (especially true for extension attributes, but also often for variant and display attributes) shall not be inherited by the children of a definition. At the moment, this can only be achieved by adding the attribute with some other (or non-) value for all children to avoid their inheriting the attribute from the parent.
Therefore, there should be a syntactic feature, e.g. a modifier named @local for the attribute definition that has this effect. Of course, this kind of modifier would clash naturally with the override keyword and thus should not be usable alongside it (not override or not @local) |
